the texting days are over

First thing every morning when I wake up I reach for my phone to check for text messages. I switch off the sound for the night so I never know. But I know these days, know without checking. I just don’t admit it.

it’s not back to normal, but it’s back after all

It is only two words, but they mean the world to me. After the long days of silence, Esme is talking to me again. More, she is offering conversation again. Maybe there isn’t everything lost.
I am happy. But not for long.
